That being said I completely agree we are at the absolute start of the rebuild. Starting throwing as much stuff at the wall as possible and hope a few things stick. We can trade for more established players later. Get the picks, draft high potential (you can go riskier because we have so many picks) and try to get a core. Plus, soon as we are good it will be much easier to sign younger players and UFA's.
This is going to be a long and painful rebuild, so brace yourself.
Edit: But let me clarify, this rebuild should be a ton of fun. Not in winning games, but expectations should be low so stress should be low as well as fun to watch players grow before our eyes. I'm super excited for what is probably the brightest future we have had in a long long long time.
