You’d probably need some sort of permit but what about an annual bike ride in celebration of Johnny, bike safety, and not drinking and driving. Wear your Gaudreau jersey and bike/blade down to the Dome. Any donations/proceeds to Kidsport, MADD, or some other charity. If the memorial at the Dome is any indication, I think there could be a lot of support for something like this.
As for the date, Johnny’s birthday is August 13. It lands on a Wednesday next year, but that’s okay. Who’s in? |
