Many people spoke at the service as he was a very well-liked guy, but all you could hear, echoing around the venue, was his two young boys, 5 and 7 at the time (I think) wailing in complete and utter distress for almost two hours.
I have to assume that family is almost literally gutted. What an awful tragedy.

I had a similar experience when a good friend was t boned on his motorcycle off highway 8, by a car who wasn't paying attention and blew the stop sign.
I will never forgot his mom's wails at his funeral. I swore I'd never go on a motorbike in my life after that.
The amount of grief his parents are feeling right now. I look at my boys, and I shudder to think of a world where I had to say goodbye to either of them.
