Exactly the same. Had a busy day at work but with the feeling of a black could hanging over the day. Got home and have been watching some of the coverage and tributes. Gut wrenching stuff. I can't even imagine what the family is going through.
Obviously the Gaudreau family gets the primary thoughts and prayers on a day like today, but I'm also gonna throw out some thoughts to my fellow Flames fans and the people on this board. It's a tough day for all of us who have followed the team for years or even decades. We spend a lot of time following the team and players so its impossible not to feel impacted by this.
I left in 2017, but I know the entire city of Calgary is feeling it given its a small city where the Flames are part of the fabric of the city.
If I was in Calgary today I'd be going to contribute to the memorial at the dome.
