I think a retirement should be a celebration and not a mourning. So I think some kind of respectful tribute as part of opening night makes sense. But than work with his parents to understand when they are ready to celebrate Gaudreu and his time in Calgary for the jersey retirement. If that takes 5 or 10 years that’s okay.
