As someone born in the 21st century, Johnny was the first star I got to see start to finish in calgary. Met him a few times when I was younger, he even said he recognized me the last time. I will never forget his skating style, and the way he got people up on their feet everytime he had the puck. He had skill very few players have had in the league, and certainly like no one we have seen and may ever see wear the flaming C. I was in the building for his game tying goal against Anaheim in 2015 and the game 7 overtime winner against Dallas in 2022, and I consider those the two best games I’ve ever been to.
