Because there is no grey area there - it’s completely binary. You either believe that Israel can do more to limit civilian deaths, and by not doing so they are contributing to the slaughter of innocent people. Or you believe that they are completely justified and can do nothing more to help the civilians, which goes against just about every source in the world (including their greatest ally, the US itself) other than Israel itself.

I think saying he believes there should be a ceasefire is absolutely implying Israel is in the right by continuing their current course of action.
I got the impression Manhattanboy was legitimately being open to discussion on this one. Yup, he cherry picked a headline of an article, but I think he's moved on from that and so can the rest of us.
