Question for all you married / finance people.
My wife and I currently keep our funds separate. We intend to keep doing so, however, we have discussed either creating a new account or a new Credit Card for purchasing groceries and restaurants, as well as travel - the things we truly do split, and make up the vast majority of our spending.
So, does anyone have thoughts on how best to do this?
- Opening a joint account, getting two credit cards and just paying into the account each month.
- Getting a new credit card in one of our accounts and just having the other one transfer money to the other each month to reconcile.
- Can you get two credit cards for the same credit account if it isnt a joint account?
