While not specifically the Bow River bridge, 22x saw lane restrictions to deal with demolition and construction of the Mcleod Trail interchanges from 2017 to 2021 constantly causing traffic backups.
Eastbound demolition started in spring 2021 and opened in Oct 2023 and all traffic shifted to the eastbound to extend the westbound bridge.
Late 90's early 2000's lights were added the road was twinned; 4 lanes squeezed onto the old bridge. It's been pretty much a construction zone since I graduated from high School in 1998.
