don't get me wrong - i LOVE dogs... but we don't own one. we do dog sit and that is more than enough for us. the main reason we dog sit is becuz our kids would LOVE to have a dog but we don't want one for all the reasons you posted and if you add in food and vet bills they are stinkin' expensive! |
If you owned one you would come to realize they are like family. Growing up we had 2 dogs, Black Lab and Cockapoo and none us enjoyed the day when we had to put them down. Yes they can be expensive to own but they also can be great friends and companions
