I must be of the minority but I don't see a problem with people bringing their support or service dogs. On the other hand for the vast majority it's their lap and small dogs that you see in stores and such. No large ones.

My brother used to travel with his dog when he drove up from his place in Minnesota to visit me in High River. His first day stop would be in Estevan and he would stay in motel that had a room that allowed for pets. His lab Buddy would sleep on the floor. That said he had to pay extra in case there was an extra cleaning needed.
