People get pissy when told at the front desk of hotels that no pets are allowed now too. People thinking they can now sleep in everybody else's bed with their muts is wild in 2024

I agree.
We as a society painted ourselves into a corner.
You can't leave your dog alone or you're a monster.
You can leave your dog in the car for a few minutes as long as its not insanely hot out. But you're risking Batman smashing your window in. So...can't do that.
You can kennel-train your dog and leave them at home while you work, so long as you dont leave them too long so as they cant go outside to pee. If you do, you're a monster. So...can't do that.
You think I want to bring my dog into a store with me? Why? Thats a pain in the ass! But society says he can't stay in the car and he cant be left home alone.
So what are the options?
We can be pissed off about it, but at the end of the day we did it to ourselves and at some point we're just going to have to accept our Canine Overlords.
Credit to them. They played the Long-Game.
