Tough to say. Most years goalies don’t get picked early. Askarov did so maybe he will be worth that trade but that pick could be close to same range he was drafted at. Add another former 1st and it’s not a bad trade but it’s a trade maybe you can make for less.
Also tons of elite goalies get drafted all rounds of the draft. You might get a star in the mid rounds. They don’t need the goalie yet as they aren’t close. Better to keep tanking than adding him now. He’s not the last top goalie prospect. Always will be someone new
