James wants to travel the world to eat and learn.
Richard has gotten through this period of his life by the skin of his teeth and probably need to do something safer.
But as sad as I am, because truly, the greatest ensemble of touring and car shows is ending. Yeah, I lump old Top Gear in with Grand Tour because we're not in it for the title of the show we're in it for those 3.
Honestly? There are certain people who can present certain topics just in such a way as to really speak to you while entertaining.
To me? Other than the suicide, this is like losing Anthony Bourdain all over again.
The man was just such a master of his craft and these three guys are no different. Their chemistry, their humour and their ingenuity just changed the game.
The BBC thought they could just rotate them out and move along and these 3 proved them wrong. Fairly conclusively.
As for Clarkson, Hammond and May? So long boys. And thanks for all the Fish. And the memories.
