Generational wealth is sure unfair when policies keep getting implemented to allow rich families continue to build their horde of wealth. A lot of these families with generational wealth survived just fine when marginal tax rates were pretty eye bleeding.

A lot of people have been duped into believing that increasing taxes on wealthy people will adversely impact them when in reality a lot of the proposals level the playing field a bit. Why shouldn't the wealthiest pay the same percentage of taxes that most people do.
I am sure they would figure out a way around it but I think their ability to borrow cash against their equity should be severely limited as a start.
