Oh please. Literally every nation state that has ever been formed used to be someone else’s land at one point, and someone likely laid claim to it originally. Like I said, there’s no point in even debating who the land originally belonged to in this case, because no such claim can be made and there have been Arabs and Jews living on it for as long as time. You can’t just pick an arbitrary point in time to start the argument, so it’s pointless. Israel was formed and whether certain people were wronged in the process sucks, but such is life and it was almost 80 years ago.

Like I said, at some point the Palestinian leadership (true leaders who value the lives and interests of their people), need to say enough is enough, realize they are not going to get exactly what they want, and negotiate from a position of weakness. It’s not ideal, and unfortunately most Palestinians born in Gaza lost the lottery of where they were born (like many in or 3rd world countries), but they need to have the self awareness to end this cycle of decades long violence and say enough is enough. Again, I’m not discounting Israel’s own policies and they’re not innocent either, but it irks me when Israel gets all the blame and there’s no inward ability by Palestinians to assess why their own misery continues through this cycle of war.
