There's a single dude down the street from me who is very much that "Crooks & Castles" type, and guess what - he also has two pitbulls. Even worse, he refuses to put up a fence, and his dogs are always out there - most of the time not on a leash.
One time his dogs charged and jumped up on my pregnant wife (at the time) and my two smaller dogs (who are of an anxious breed). Thankfully they were just excited, but dogs were losing it and my wife froze, so the dogs just kept jumping up and getting even more fired up. I was trying to control my dogs while getting my scared spouse to move forward. It was a tense moment. The dude finally ran out of his house and said to my wife, "What's wrong with you? Get moving", and I lost it on him. Told him he's not allowed pitbulls in our town, put them on a leash, and build a damn fence. He just scoffed and pulled his dogs inside.
Now every time I walk by his house I always check to see if they're out there.
I hate Pitbulls with a passion. Just an aggressive, unlikeable breed that is more often an ego pump for dumb idiots than actual responsible dog owners.
