I thought once a player is offer sheeted it’s between him and the two clubs and no one else? Either he is a Blue or an Oiler, and also cannot be traded under any circumstance. I mean, I guess they could waive him like you said, but wouldn’t it just be easier at that rate to accept the 2nd and the space and move on?
