There’s not a single scenario where that makes sense.
It’s like suggesting someone should change their work out/nutrition regiment that’s working great for them now, because eventually they might hit a plateau. Or someone should change their current cancer treatment that is working because what if it stops working later.
It’s just literally not how it works. No logical person would ever conclude that someone should change something that is working, while it’s working, on the off chance at some point in the future it stops working.
Scenario 1: Status quo
Benefit: It’s working
Risk: It might stop working
Scenario 2: Tactic change
Benefit: It might stop Scenario 1 from not working in a theoretical situation where Scenario 1 stops working
Risk: It might stop Scenario 1 from working
What logical person is choosing Scenario 2?
