Yeah, no. That's not how it works. The most recent polls on Kamala's favorability are +2, -3, +2. The previous round it was -1, -2, etc. Biden, meanwhile, is like -20, consistently, and that hasn't changed in a long time. People's opinion of her isn't tied to Biden.
Go back to July 19-21 Kamala favorability polls - she was as low as -19, -21, best polling had her -7. At the time she was linked to him. As soon as she started doing her tour of swing states, that linkage disappeared.
She doesn't need to do anything different from what she is doing to distance herself from Biden or the administration. It's already working. Hell, it's already
worked.
