The Canadian version is just poorly done. Feels like one big hour long advertisement. Whether it's the constant commercials or the forced product placements (whoring for Boost!). It's far worse than Survivor US or Australia. I think they have three commercial breaks in the last 15 minutes alone! The whole show feels rushed, and there's barely any actual content. Also as others mentioned the gamesmanship is awful... it's a race for a cash prize, not to make besties and gain followers.
I also dislike how placement is irrelevant. As long as you don't finish last at the end of the race they're all tied anyway. They all make the same flights and can't distance themselves from the pack.
I think this will be the only time I ever watch the Canadian version... it's just bad television. The American version isn't great either... but at least they gave a crap about the quality of their glass blowing. What we saw yesterday was not at all comparable to a couple years ago in the American finalie.
