It's always hilarious to me that when they're an Oiler, they have all the potential in the world and are worth their weight in gold.
The MINUTE they're gone (in this case, not yet) they become third pairing guys, have bad stats, and aren't as good as others.
If the Oilers match one or both of these contracts, they will again be elevated to blue chip status (that should be paid under-market). LOL.
