It was a joke.
But it was also a commentary on the travails of the working person. They are underpaid, overworked and expendable because they have no power. They are exploited so that returns can be paid to the investors, who do nothing other than provide capital, a necessary part of the equation, but not deserving of all of the rewards. Particularly when the product they have invested in has been continuously downgraded to appease their rapacious appetite for ever greater returns, in turn exploiting the lack of choice for consumers who must endure the terrible service provided in order to travel.
And when the workers try to even the playing field and negotiate from a position of strength? Then the investors activate their pawns in government to discourage or outright prohibit this evening of the playing field.
And then when the unions are in they exploit and abuse their power by defending even the worst of their members at the expense of the final consumer who at the end of it all is getting ####ed with 17 dildos from all directions.
Nice system we have developed.
