It's because what he actually says is more newsworthy, and all there was to talk about with Biden was his decline. He's not out there spouting insane lies so they didn't talk about it.
Trump's been incoherent for years. Try to actually read outloud anything he says on a transcript. It's pure nonsense. But when he does put words together that form full sentences it's full of insane things like being confused about how someone can have two different ethnicities, so that's what gets talked about. And I do think they are doing what they can to not appear to "pile on" because fools like FireItUp just cry about bias when it's DJT himself the one spouting trash and blaming the media for broadcasting it or something. "They twist my words by playing the video of what I said, its nasty nasty stuff."
