Holland absolutely had the chance to stay, what makes you think otherwise? You think the Oilers were like hey, thanks for building a team that is a SC contender and missed the whole thing by one game, even though you have a pedigree of winning multiple SC's and you built this we would rather have Stan Bowman. You don't seriously believe that do you? I will bet you anything you want my source is not flat out lying, that would actually be bizarre in this case.
