If the combined cap hit of both offers exceeds $4,770,833 (Kane's hit minus what they are over already), and the Oilers match, putting Kane on LTIR is not the simple get of jail free card anymore. So awesome.

Edit...I either missed it or it was an addendum, but the OP has the final values of each contract which far exceeds the minimum requirement to screw the Oilers. So, so awesome.
