And a player who wants to play in Calgary above anywhere else. In his post signing presser, he said he always wanted to be in Calgary and was glad the timing finally worked out. He is also going in with his eyes wide open and knows where the team is at the moment.
It feels like once Kylington decided to play hardball with the Flames, it gave them a clean exit without having to feel like they were obligated to take care of him anymore. It showed he was healthy enough to move on to a new hockey family.
