The issue of whose policies make peoples' lives better at the state level has been put front and center just last week, by the Democrats. They're essentially saying, Tim Walz runs Minnesota - how's that working out for Minnesota? Well, it's a top 5 state for business, has paid family leave, ensures kids get breakfast and lunch so they go to class full, legislated in abortion rights, increased union rights, paid sick leave, sunk a billion dollars into affordable housing while running a budget surplus of 3.7 billion this year.
And the biggest criticism of his track record so far? "He put tampons in school bathrooms!" That says a lot.
