The issue is that it's not about winning the votes of the protestors. It's about the protestors generating news coverage, not about the substance of what they're protesting but about the fact that they were at the rally being disruptive and there was DRAMA that we can cover, that alters the course of he race at large.
Like, CNN this morning is interviewing some random veteran who's mad at Walz because he left the National Guard after 24 years. Why? Lawrence O'Donnell was... kinda right. And I'm not a big fan of his.
