Agree. I think the discussion is under the assumption that the Dems need absolutely everybody, while I think it’s actually fine if they don’t meet the demands of the protestors. Where they’re going to win and lose votes is how they handle them, and “Shut up or else” is just bad.

As well, I just entirely disagree with people who see the protestors as important enough to matter but still treat them with the “shut up and vote Democrat” mentality.
