Canadian Morning Update:

Round 3 of the Women’s Golf Tournament – Brooke Henderson has her best round of the tourney and is sitting at -2. Leaders are currently sitting at -7. The other Canadian Alena Sharp is at +8.

The Men’s 10m Platform Diving starts at 02:00 featuring Bronze Medalists Rylan Wiens and Nathan Zsomber-Murray. - Both divers qualified for the semis. Top 18 made it. Wiens was third and Zsomber-Murray was 10th.

The Women’s C2 500m Semifinal is at 02:30, Sloan MacKenzie and Katie Vincent are in the second race. – As mentioned by ajr4013 – MacKenzie and Vincent won bronze! It was a photo finish for silver, they were only 6 one hundredth back.

Canada runs in Round 1 of the Women’s 4x400m Relay at 02:40. Canada qualified for the finals tomorrow!

Women’s K2 500m Semifinal starts at 02:50 with Courtney Stott and Natalie Davison. The ladies did not qualify for the finals.

Lots of wrestling starting at 03:00 including Alex Moore in the Repechage Round of the 86kg competition and Hannah Fay Taylor in the Repechage of the Women’s 57kg. Alex Moore lost in the repechage round and his tournament is over. Hannah Taylor won her match is and facing an American for Bronze at 12:15pm!

The Men’s K2 500m Semifinal begins at 03:10 with Pierre-Luc Poulin and Simon McTavish in the second race. Poulin and McTavish did not qualify for the finals.

In the Men’s 800m Semifinal at 03:30 Marco Arop runs in the second race. Arop won his semi finals and qualified for tomorrow’s finals!

The Men’s C1 1000m Semifinals start at 03:00 with Connor Fitzpatrick in the first race. Connor didn’t make the finals.

The Semifinal for the Women’s 100m Hurdles begins at 04:05, Mariam Abdul-Rashid is in the first race. Abdul-Rashid just missed out on qualifying for the finals.
Also at 07:00 Boady Santavy competes in the Men’s 89kg Weightlifting. Santavy is currently competing but isn’t in the medal hunt.
