Are you really unaware of how much less his actual take home pay was or do you just feel the need for exaggeration to make a point?
Do you know his personal financial situation? Are you not aware he could actually be in debt right now seeing as pro athletes get screwed over from people close to them countless times?
Why do you care where the money goes if the Flames don’t have it? How do you know he doesn’t need the financial supoort for his mental health as much as organizations that you speak of?
Do you feel the same way about players who have career disrupting/ ending injuries too or do you just love good old-fashioned stigmatization of mental health issues that the world is moving away from?
