The masses always get bent about the 'heat wave' and whine about needing AC when we have our annual 7-14 day run of 30ish weather - and then it's over. Not a single day is forecasted to hit above 26 through the last week of the month and by that time Calgary is fully entering Fall mode.
I at least applaud that the city is waiting until the end of the month to pull the cord on water again when it's actually fully cooled down, but it is probably only because nobody bothered to proactively source necessary materials in time to do it earlier lol.
Get used to it people...we are going to be dealing with on/off water restrictions for the next 2-3 years while this dumpster fire is repaired and eventually fully remedied. Get ready for the property tax burden from hell too - green line, water line, event center.....the increases that have been coming the last few years are going to look like child's play comparatively.
