ugh, that sucks.

We have a big vacation planned for January that we got Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption insurance for. Reviewed the policy and the language is specific but also vague on certain items.

It is annoying because I could call up the agent and they could "clarify" a hypothetical situation, but that isn't binding. For example, would our policy cover the crowdstrike outage? Or this hail damage to YYC airport, etc, etc.

Our CC also has coverage by default, but that policy is the last resort policy and had even more restrictions on if they will pay out.
