Wish him a successful stop in Colorado, but I wouldn't be surprised nor sad to see a poor season as a 6/7 D-man turning into an overseas player next year.

Throwing away the opportunity to be in the top 4 on a poor roster is what surprises me the most. He could have set himself up nicely for a jump in pay while growing his game. Going to a deep Colorado team and being a bottom pair guy seems like a bad decision if his desire is to play a lot of minutes. Hard not to question his compete level when the dust has settled.
