I wish Canadians would treat our premier Olympic athletes the same way we do our hockey players. A small critique, but they should be held high between those four year periods. They're treated well enough, but not nearly the same as they do in Europe and Asia. Summer McIntosh deserves a parade imo. To me what she has accomplished is right up their with winning a Championship. We have parades for those... why not for someone who has dominated at the Olympics? Summer should be right at the top as the most well renowned athletes in Canada.
