One of my favourite parts is all the people who are collateral damage. Yet Tony, members of his family and gangsters continually act like they weren’t the reason these people’s lives were ruined.

Artie, first having his restaurant blown up and then the issue with Tony forgiving his debt, Chris’ writer friend, Sal Vitro, Robert Patrick’s character. I’m sure there’s others I’m forgetting.

Artie even called out Tony for it after he ended up in the hospital. Time and time again we saw various connected characters draw innocent people into their web and we as viewers got to watch them flame out. When Chris went to collect from JT and JT asked for help via I think a loan and Chris said he wouldn’t enable him. Like inviting him to those poker games wasn’t enabling him. Same with Robert Patrick and Tony.

Reminds me a bit of the way Vito couldn’t give up the life and maintain an honest living. These side characters so frequently were drawn in by the lure of the lifestyle the organized crime guys had and didn’t realize they were the sucker until it was too late.
