1. No many players take a discount. I listed some names. Even on teams like Tampa they are taking big contracts. Colorado they loved Kadri, but MacKinnon took the money.
2. Alan Walsh whines about avg players salaries being so low in the NHL. The NBA is a poor example because its 12 man rosters, but I think they will push for guys to take more money the higher end players.
