I think the Oilers are constantly in conflict between wanting to micro-manage the organization's image, and cutting every practical and moral corner possible in order to get a cup.
On all fronts they bleed insecurity.
Despite all their handshakes with the devil they're 0-9 in seasons with McDavid.
