C'mon now take the loss here. It's silly to fact check a statement that was used as a loose reference discussion point about the current economic situation in the US yet is literally and factually true simply because it hurts a narrative. Now you are using excuses when your fact check backfired.

Did gas prices double since Biden took office? Yes. It's a fact that can be corroborated. Are they currently double? No but they are close.

Is Biden responsible for the increase? No. Does that matter to Americans? No (EldrickOnIce's argument)

Also one important note that you failed to mention in the series of excuses is that Biden sold off nearly half of the US's SPR at a historical unprecedented rate just to make his administration not appear ineffective and are at their lowest level since 1983.
