The hit men make total sense. Also Hitman regardless of the association with Brett hart is cool . Like a group of assassinations like assassin's creed or John wick.
Believe it or not the WWE is one of the most popular "Sports "in the world . Yes it is staged but it is very athletic. It trained all the top guys and girls in the prime years.
The hart house was is such a note of importance to Calgary when the City considered it for demolition, they made it a heritage site and paid to have it renoed.
Even tho the Hart family were not in top rated sports Stu and his Family were proud Canadians and in each era of the wwf and WWE were Uber popular in pop culture they put Calgary on the map in alot of ways and brought stability to having a Whl team in Calgary . Before the Hart's Calgary struggled to maintain a whl team the had the centenials ( ultimately turned to the Tri city Americans since 1988, then the wranglers ( now the Lethbridge Hurricanes )since 1987.
Having the Hart's associated with the team led the Flames to purchase the team as the Hart's popularity in 1997 were through the roof and the team was prospering in attendance and popularity.
The teams name makes perfect sense and pays omage the the history to one of the most known citizens .
Again the name Hitman is just badass.
