I mean, she doesn't ever take blame for anything. Nothing is ever her government's fault. Everyone else is always wrong.

I don't strictly believe the Alberta government is to blame directly for this disaster (they don't control fire intensity), but some humility and reflection during this time would be seen as honest and tactful. And they should be striking a fully collaborative tone and saying they want to move forward with everyone involved, hand-in-hand, without getting political.

But I expect too much. Marlaina will never, ever, give up that ground.
