Beach and Kennedy did the right thing by endorsing the reinstatements, effectively saying that they have paid the price and it is time to move on. That is a completely different thing than running out and actually
hiring one of these guys as the new face of their organization.
Also, this is not a one-off for the Oiler organization. Having Nicholson as a senior exec, with Kane and Perry on the team, shows a pattern of practice that illustrates the team has absolutely no moral backbone. It stems directly from the owner, and is systemic throughout the organization.
