Likely reason is complete and utter stupidity by the people in charge on the ground, and then politics by the people above them to restrict protection details, etc, etc. And then an attempt at a coverup of it all. As for Biden, likely in worse shape than the media and the cover up gang wants to admit. The fact that he can't even hold a press conference to tell everyone he is not running is pretty ridiculous. The fact that most here think its no big deal is hilarious. I mean its only the most important position in the world.
I have realized that people don't actually care that the position is held by someone who actually has the capability of running it, and instead its like cheering for a hockey team. No matter what, your team is good and the other team (the oilers), suck, are terrible, no good, etc. Even if they make it to finals.
