https://calgaryherald.com/sports/hoc...ia-place-opens ) and fans have been floating this idea too for a while now. Suggesting that 2027-2028 date is the start of contention, tying Cale Makar hitting UFA into it in a whole delusional vision. You can't set a date like this for the end of the rebuild.
I hope ownership isn't thinking this, enforcing this strategy on hockey ops.
