Reading some reporting that a big push and emphasis will be on Harris's prosecutorial career and the fact that Trump is a convicted felon. The contrast is strong.

Personally I think it's important to tread lightly in that regard. Trump was found guilty and is probably guilty of a lot of other crimes but let's get real, he was found guilty legally for falsification of business records. A practice that is so common I can't even estimate how many members of the senate and congress have done similar related issues.

Focusing on things like race, women's rights, diversity etc are also important but not as important as economic and pocketbook issues. Speak to working people, understand their legit concerns with America in 2024. The level of economic and career anxiety people face in America these days are serious and a lot of people in both parties have not taken that serious.

Trump's VP pick, Vance is being groomed to take the mantel so to speak and he has the ability to really understand a lot of these issues. He has runway if the Dems aren't smart.

Going after Trump for the business records fine, running a massive campaign of that corruption is one thing, thinking working class people in the rust belt care to that degree is another. Most working people know that most wealthy people have made their money and screwed over others in the process.
