The other comment that I would make is: what matters is the interior.
When new buildings are imagined, and design sketches are presented, everyone wants to see a cool new building design. Which is great. Always nice to improve the skyline.
But what matters - what you use and see far more - is the inside. Good sightlines, washrooms, mobility, concessions, lighting and sound. These are what make for a better fan experience.
Case in point: the Saddledome is still one of the coolest exteriors in the league, but is a pretty weak fan experience. I would happily revert to the opposite and have the best interior. (Though being awesome in both ways is obviously nice.)
