That was a classic 2024 Cavalry game. Dull in the first half. A terrible penalty to start the second. Finally break through in the 57th on a great header from Klomp only to give Forge a goal 60 seconds later.
Tom Field having to start every game is a symptom of how bad our roster construction is year after year. He simply is not good enough for this level. But we insist on signing 72 central midfielders and can't build any depth elsewhere in the roster. Last year we were lucky enough to be healthy and avoid this disaster.
