Flames My apologies for my bad post

Hello Calgary puck forum,

I’m writing to you in regards to a post I made back on ~June 24 before game 7 between Edmonton and Florida for Stanley cup. https://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=196319

After a month of hard reflection and support from friends outside the Calgary puck forum, I want to make a proper apology for that post.

At the time of the post, I was undergoing personal turmoil in my life (a recent breakup with my girlfriend, constant fighting with my parents regarding my future, also a recent trip to the hospital because of a bad stomach). It didn’t help that the Stanley cup finals was stressful to watch as well.

However, this doesn’t excuse the words I said on that day. I realize that at the end of the day, it’s just a sport. I can still have passion for it, but I shouldn’t be emotionally toxic about it.

So I want to say sorry and I hope that this community can welcome me back with open arms. I’m not leaving this forum. I’m still a flames fan. But I want to be a better person when it comes to being mature and in control with my emotions. I hope you [all] understand.
