My question would be what is the critical mass needed for that. The Flames have the following players right now that somewhat check that box

Backlund
Coleman
Kadri
Huberdeau
Andersson
Weegar

Do you need 5 of those guys? 4 of those guys? I suspect you can get by without all 6. If the only two you are thinking of trading are Coleman and Andersson and your plan is to try to sign a quality vet or two next offseason to a short term contract maybe you can get by.

The types of returns I think you could get for Coleman and Andersson would be hard to turn down.
